USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters the weekend with a combined 46-19-1-3-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record following a five-game weekend. The U17s hosted a pair of games against Shattuck-St. Mary's last weekend at USA Hockey Arena. The U.S. earned the sweep, downing the Sabres, 8-2, in the opener before skating to a 5-2 win to claim the series. Frank Nazar III (Mount Clemens, Mich.) notched six points in the series, including four goals. 

The U18s went 1-1-0-1 in a weekend of road games against USHL opponents. In Friday's contest against the Gamblers, the team rallied from a deficit to send the game to overtime, but fell in a shootout before bouncing back with a 3-2 win in Saturday's contests. The U18s fell, 8-2, in Sunday's matchup against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. 

Team USA returns to USA Hockey this weekend for a pair of games beginning with a rematch between the U18s and the Fighting Saint before the team returns to the ice with a matchup against Chicago.
