USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play the weekend with a combined 10-2-0-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after earning two victories and a loss last weekend. The U17s earned their first USHL win of the season on Friday, downing the Green Bay Gamblers, 3-2, at the Resch Center. Marek Hejduk (Parker, Colo.) scored the game-winner late in the third period. The U18s opened college play on Friday against Concordia University (Wis.), defeating the Falcons, 8-2, at USA Hockey Arena before suffering a 5-3 setback against Adrian College. 

The U18s hit the road for Des Moines, Iowa, to take on USHL foe Buccaneers on Friday, while the Under-17 team is set to make its home debut when it hosts the Shreveport Mudbugs (NAHL) in a Friday-Saturday series at USA Hockey Arena. Puck drop on Friday is slated for a 6 p.m., and Saturday's game is set for a 3 p.m. start.
