NTDP Notebook Week of Dec. 2-8
USA Hockey’s National Team Development enters play this weekend 31-16-0-2-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) after earning four victories last week. The U18s continue their USHL slate with a home-and-home against Youngstown on Friday (Dec. 6) and Saturday (Dec. 7). Friday's puck drop at the Covelli Centre is 7:35 p.m. and gametime at USA Hockey Arena on Saturday is at 7 p.m.
NTDP Notebook Week of Dec. 2-8
USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 31-16-0-2-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after the U18s and the U17s swept last week's games. On Wednesday, both teams won their Thanksgiving Eve matchups. The U18s defeated Youngstown, 6-3, at USA Hockey Arena while the U17s took down Muskegon, 8-6, on the road. The U17s also picked up wins in Green Bay on Saturday (Nov. 30), 4-3, and in Madison on Sunday (Dec. 1), 3-1.
The U18s are the only team in action this weekend with two games against Youngstown. They travel to Ohio on Friday (Dec. 6) to face the Phantoms at 7:35 p.m. before hosting them Saturday (Dec. 7) for the NTDP's annual Teddy Bear Toss game at 7:00 p.m.
Overall Record: U18: 14-8-1-0 | U17: 17-8-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL)
Team USA USHL Record: 15-7-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) with 30 PTS in 22 GP, 2nd place in the Eastern Conference
