Ryan St. Louis (Riverside, Conn.) sent one between the legs of the Czech Republic’s Tomas Suchanek on a short-handed breakaway to seal the game, 10-1.

“Our identity shone through today,” said head coach John Wroblewski after the win. “It was a good struggle in the first period. They had some good pressure and we were up to the task and we broke it open in the second. Internationally you’re going get every team’s best game and you’ve got to embrace that grind and take a game over when you can.”

The U.S. continues play tomorrow, Monday (Nov. 4) against Canada White at 7 p.m. MT/9 p.m. ET.
