USA Hockey’s National Team Development enters play this weekend 7-7-0-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) after falling in last weekend’s four contests and dropping a mid-week decision to Ferris State on Tuesday (Oct. 8). The U17s open the weekend Friday (Oct. 11) hosting the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7 p.m. ET to open their home schedule. They turn around and travel to the Lumberjacks for a rematch on Saturday (Oct. 12) at 7 p.m. ET. The U18s continue its NCAA slate this weekend when they travel to Providence College (Saturday, Oct. 12) at 5 p.m. ET and Holy Cross (Sunday, Oct.13) at 4 p.m. ET.
USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 7-7-0-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after the U18s and the U17s went 0-for-5 in the last week. On Saturday night, the U18s fell in a tough loss to the Wildcats of Northern Michigan University (L, 4-3, Oct. 5). On Sunday afternoon, the U18s dropped game two of its College Series to Notre Dame (L, 4-2, Oct. 6), and the U17s fell to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on both Friday (L, 8-4, Oct. 4) and Saturday (L, 5-1, Oct. 5). The U18s also dropped a 5-0 decision to Ferris State University on Tuesday (Oct. 8).
The U18s continue their NCAA slate on the road at Providence College to face-off against the Friars on Friday evening (Oct. 12) at 5 p.m. ET before heading to Holy Cross on Saturday (Oct. 13) afternoon at 4 p.m. ET. The U17s open their home schedule on Friday (Oct. 11) at 7 p.m. ET at USA Hockey Arena. The U17s then head to Muskegon the following night (Saturday, Oct. 12) to face-off at L.C. Walker Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
