USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend 7-2-0-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) after earning victories in four games last weekend. The U18s open play at USA Hockey Arena and kick-off its NCAA slate this weekend when they host Northern Michigan University (Saturday, Oct. 5) at 7 p.m. and host the University of Notre Dame (Sunday, Oct. 6) at 4 p.m. The Under-17 team is on the road at Cedar Rapids Ice Arena to take on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (Friday, Oct. 3) at 7 p.m. CT and (Saturday, Oct. 5) at 7 p.m. CT.
USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters play this weekend with a 7-2-0-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL-T) record after the U18s and the U17s swept their weekend games. The U18s defeated both the Green Bay Gamblers (5-2, Sept. 28) and the Sioux City Musketeers (4-0, Sept. 29) at the USHL Fall Classic in Pittsburgh. The U17s took both of their games at the Minnesota Elite League, defeating Sanford Power (5-2, Sept. 28) and MSP Magazine (17-5, Sept. 29).
The U18s open the season at USA Hockey Arena and its NCAA slate Saturday night (Oct. 5) against the Wildcats of Northern Michigan University at 7 p.m. ET. The following afternoon (Sunday, Oct. 6) they host the University of Notre Dame at 7 p.m. ET. The U17s travel to Iowa to take on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Friday (Oct. 4) at 7 p.m. CT and Saturday (Oct. 5.) at 7 p.m. CT.
