USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program has announced its full 2019-20 schedule for both its Under-17 and Under-18 teams. The NTDP regular season begins with the 2019 DICK’s Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic on September 28 and runs through April 18, 2020 when the U17 team finishes its season in Youngstown, OH.

The 2019-20 promotional schedule will be released at a later date.
The NTDP Under-17 team will embark on two separate road trips that span at least five games, including a season-long eight game stretch as the visitors from November 27 – January 4. That period also includes a trip to Russia for a Four Nations tournament in mid-December.
The U18s top out at four straight games away from USA Hockey Arena, happening on three different occasions over the course of the 2019-20 season.
AROUND THE WORLD
The two NTDP teams will play in a combined five international events throughout the season. The first international break comes during the week of November 3-10 when the U17s will play in the World Under-17 Challenge taking place between Swift Current, Saskatoon and Medicine Hat, Alberta. During the same period, the U18s will travel to Sweden for a Five Nations tournament.
The U17 squad will travel to Russia for a pair of competitions this season – first, a Four Nations tournament from December 8-15 and then the team will return to the country from February 2-9 for a Five Nations competition. During the February international break, the U18 team will head to the Czech Republic for a Five Nations tournament of their own.
The Under-18 team will play twelve collegiate games this season as the visiting team. Some highlights of those dozen contests include trips to 2019 Frozen Four participant Providence College (Oct. 13), Lansing to take on Michigan State (Oct. 18) and a short ride to Yost Ice Arena to meet the Michigan Wolverines (Nov. 29). CLOSING UP SHOP
The U17 team wraps up the NTDP's USHL regular-season schedule with a pair of road games in Youngstown on April 17 and 18, 2020. The final home games of the schedule are slated for April 10 and 11 when the U17s host the Green Bay Gamblers. The U18 regular season commences with a Friday night tilt against Muskegon on April 3.
