MUSKEGON LUMBERJACKS:  The Lumberjacks have had a busy preseason, already playing in four exhibition contests, collecting a win and four losses in those matchups.

With an expansive preseason roster, the 'Jacks have been led by Ethan Whitcomb and Gavin McCarthy, who have each potted a pair of goals. Forward Cody Croal leads the team with two assists in two games played.

In the cage, Noah Rupprecht has seen action in three games with a 1-2-0-0 record, 2.76 goals-against average and .927 save percentage. Brendan Holahan has seen more time in net in his two games and played to a 7.78 GAA and .793 SV%.

After the pair of preseason matchups, the U18s and Lumberjacks will not meet again until December 14 at USA Hockey Arena for Team USA's annual Kid's Day Game.

JOHNSTOWN TOMAHAWKS: The Johnstown Tomahawks are three games into their 2022-23 season, going 1-2-0 during the stretch.

Defenseman Gabriel Lunn is the lone skater with multiple points as he's collected three helpers from the blue line, while forwards Ryan Panico, James Barbour, David Matousek and Ryan Vellucci have all notched a goal.

In net, the 'Hawks have split time between Matt O'Donnell and Alec Rajalin-Scharp. O'Donnell lost his lone apperance but stopped 28 of 30 shots. Rajalin-Scharp has posted a 3.00 GAA and .769 save percentage en route to a 1-1 record.

Team USA and Johnstown are familiar with each other after having seen each other for a pair of games to begin the 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. In each campaign, the two sides split the pair of matchups. Most recently in October 2020, the U17s began the season dropping a 6-4 game to Johnstown then followed up the next day with a 9-4 victory.

MAINE NORDIQUES: The Maine Nordiques kicked off their 2022-23 season by splitting a pair of matchups against the Northeast Generals, a 6-3 win and 4-1 loss.

Forwards Laurent Trepanier (2g-1a) and Anthony Achille (0g-3a) have led the way with a trio of points over the team's first two games.

Thomas Heaney has taken both starts in net, playing to a 1-1-0 record with a 3.50 GAA and .875 save percentage.

Maine rosters defenseman Dominic Vansaghi, older brother of U17 forward Shane Vansaghi (St. Louis, Mo.) as the blueliner looks for his first game action of the season.
