PROVIDENCE FRIARS: The Friars skated to a 21-13-2 record this year, finishing their regular season on a three-game win streak. NTDP alum Brett Berard netted the overtime winner in Providence's most recent game, a 3-2 OTW agains the Maine Black Bears last weekend. 

Berard, older brother of U18 forward Brady Berard (East Greenwich, R.I.), leads PC with 17 goals and 37 points on the campaign. Nick Poisson (10g-25a-35pts), Parker Ford (13g-13a-26pts) and another NTDP alum in forward Patrick Moynihan (11g-14a-25pts) round out the Friars' production from their forward group.

Max Crozier has been Providence's most productive defenseman, collecting 22 points (7g-15a) in 30 games of action this year.

Jaxon Stauber has appeared in net in 35 of PC's 36 games this season. The Minnesota native has turned in his best collegiate season with a 20-13-2 record, 2.10 goals-against average and .922 save percentage.

Providence finished tied for fifth place in the Hockey East standings, standing alongside Boston University and UConn with 38 points apiece, eight off the pace of UMass, HEA regular season champions. 

DUBUQUE FIGHTING SAINTS: The Fighting Saints roster the league's two leading scorers, and three of the top eight, in forwards Stephen Halliday (25g-41a-66pts), Connor Kurth (25g-27a-62pts) and trade deadline acquisition, Jackson Hallum (22g-30a-52pts). Forwards Tristan Lemyre and Kenny Connors have added 38 goals and 75 points combined to accent Dubuque's scoring.

Defenseman Samuel Sjolund leads the Saints blueliners with eight goals and 22 points while Axel Kumln, Austin Oraetz and Lucas Olvestad have pitched in with 15+ points apiece. 

Dubuque is one of two teams in the USHL to play just two guys in net as they have split the season between Paxton Geisel and Philip Svedeback. Geisel leads the team with 30 GP, producing an 18-8-0-2 record, 2.99 GAA and .902 SV%. Svedeback has an 8-5-2-1 record, 3.42 GAA and .896 SV% in 16 games of action this year.

These three games are the only trio of matchups between the U17s and Fighting Saints this season. In the last matchup between Team USA and Dubuque, the U18s shut out the Saints by a 9-0 final on February 18 in Iowa.
