MULTI-GOAL GANG: Four different skaters netted multiple goals in the Under-18 Team's 11-3 win over the Green Bay Gamblers Friday evening at USA Hockey Arena, the first time that happened since five players scored a pair back on January 25, 2019 in an 11-4 victory over Central Illinois.

Will Smith (Lexington, Mass.) kicked off the game's scoring and added another on a breakaway to put the team up 3-0 midway through the opening period.

Cutter Gauthier (Scottsdale, Ariz.) scored a pair in a 4:24 span late in the opening frame to give him a team-high 26 goals on the season.

Isaac Howard (Hudson, Wis.) collected back-to-back scores for Team USA and Ryan Chesley (Mahtomedi, Minn.) delivered two booming slap-shots that found the back of the net to give the U18s four multi-goal scorers.

The win marked the fourth USHL game in the last five that the U18s have scored at least nine goals, outscoring their opponents by a combined 40-18 margin over the stretch.

NO KAP: Under-18 forward Devin Kaplan (Bridgewater, N.J.) has found his stride of late as he has accumulated multi-point efforts in three of his last four outings.

Over the span, the Boston University commit has three goals and three assists as he has put himself into the top-10 on the team in scoring. The line of Rutger McGroarty - Charlie Stramel - and Kaplan has solidified, coinciding with the run from Kaplan.

McGroarty has added nine points (3g-6a) and Stramel five (1g-4a) over the past four contests.

MOVIN' ON UP: U17 forward Beckett Hendrickson (Minnetonka, Minn.) connected on the first goal of the game in the U17s' game against the Green Bay Gamblers Saturday evening, making him the seventh U17 skater to hit the double-digit mark in tallies on the year.

Hendrickson put Team USA on top late in the first when he fired home from the slot after Austin Burnevik (Blaine, Minn.) carved through the Gamblers defense and found his fellow Minnesota native with a sleek backhand pass.

Hendrickson, still one of five uncommited skaters for the Under-17 Team, has had an impressive run of late, notching eight points (4g-4a) over his last nine games played.

VOTES FOR EXTRA HOCKEY: U17 forward Will Vote (Lexington, Mass.) forced overtime Saturday night with a redirection of a Will Smith pass with 1:10 to play in regulation.

With the marker, Vote is now tied for third among all U17 skaters with 14 goals. The Boston College commit has scored in five of the team's last seven games, racking up nine points (6g-3a) overall during the streak.

MUSS CAUSES FUSS: Under-17 Team goaltender Carsen Musser (Sherburn, Minn.) turned aside 29 of 31 Gamblers shot attempts on Saturday to extend his late stretch of great play.

Over his past three appearances, Musser has posted a 2-0-0-1 record with a ridiculous 0.77 goals-against average and .973.

On the campaign, the back stop's 2.82 GAA and .906 SV% rank first among all NTDP goaltenders.
