WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: Under-18 players Logan Cooley (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Dylan Silverstein (Calabasas, Calif.) remain away from the team as they dress for Team USA at World Juniors.

Silverstein appeared in the pre-tournament game against Finland where he made five saves and Cooley assisted on Team USA's first score in their 3-2 win over Slovakia on Sunday evening.

INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS: The Under-17 Team hits the ice for the first time since coming home from a Four Nations tournament in Piestany, Slovakia that saw them take second place.

The U17s beat the host Slovaks, 5-2, and Czechia, 4-1, before falling in the final game to Russia.

On the season, the team is a combined 6-1-0 in their two international competitions, including a four-game sweep in Finland back in November.

CUT A RUG: U18 forward Cutter Gauthier (Scottsdale, Ariz.) has been the team's most prolific scorer over the past 10 games, recording eight goals and adding six assists for 14 points over the stretch.

The future Boston College Eagle now tops the team with 16 total goals on the season and sits fifth with 27 points (16-11a). Gauthier is only four goals shy of last year's total in 17 fewer games played.
