SHATTUCK ST. MARY'S SABRES: Last weekend, the Sabres swept a trio of games in the northeast with a 4-3 OT win against Northwood (NY), a 5-3 win over Mount St. Charles (RI) and a 3-2 victory over South Kent Prep in Connecticut.

The Sabres are led by forward William Whitelaw, who has racked up 48 points (21g-27a) in the team's 25 games. Canadian Macklin Celebrini has also eclipsed the 40-point pleateau as he's dumped in 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 total points. Cole Eiserman, a 2006-born Massachusetts native, leads the Sabres with 27 goals  and has added a dozen helpers for 39 total points. 

In the cage, Shattuck splits time between Calvin Vachon and Liam Beerman. The former has appeared in 13 games with a 10-1-1 record, 2.57 GAA and .910 SV%. Beerman has seen slightly more action, getting into 14 games, posting an 11-1-2 record with a .910 save percentage for the Sabres.

Last year's Under-17 Team hosted SSM for a pair of games at USA Hockey Arena, collecting 8-2 and 5-2 wins on successive nights in February. 

WISCONSIN BADGERS: Brock Caufield, older brother of NTDP alum Cole, leads the Badgers with seven points (3g-4a) through the team's first 16 games. Tarek Baker (4g-2a) and defenseman Corson Ceulemans (1g-5a) follow with six points apiece. 

NTDP alum Cameron Rowe has split time with Jared Moe in net for the Badgers. Rowe has a 2-5-0 record, with a 3.74 GAA and .868 SV%. Moe has appeared in two more games, posting a 2-6-1-1 record in a dozen games wit ha 2.54 GAA and .924 SV%.

Aside from Rowe, the Badgers skate five more program alums in forwards Caden Brown and Owen Lindmark and defensemen Tyler Inamoto, Daniel Laatsch and Jacob Martin. 

The matchup will be the ninth all-time between the NTDP and Badgers as Team USA has taken a pair of wins in the previous eight games. Wisconsin won 3-2 in the last contest between the teams, a New Year's Day game at USA Hockey Arena to kick off 2020. 

MADISON CAPITOLS: The Caps present an extremely balanced scoring attack as 10 skaters have hit double-digit points on the season so far. Nick DeSantis leads the team with 19 points (8g-11a) while defenseman Luke Mittelstadt follows right behind with 18 points (7g-11a) in 19 games.

Simon Latkoczy is the lone qualified goaltender for the Capitols, appearing in 15 games while posting an impressive 10-4-1 record, 3.04 goals-against average and .900 save percentage.

The U17s have played Madison twice so far on the 2021-22 season, dropping a weekend pair to the Capitols in mid-October in Michigan. This will be the first matchup between the 18s and Madison. There will be four more matchups between Team USA and Madison after this weekend for the remainder of the season.
