CLEAN SWEEP: The Under-18 Team ran through a spotless November, winning all eight games they played. The U18s took all three Kroger College Series matchups, beating Adrian College twice and Buffalo State, beat Chicago Sunday afternoon in their only USHL matchup of the month and swept the Five Nations tournament in Monthey, Switzerland, beating Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Finland by a combined 30-5 total.

The last time an NTDP team swept a calendar month was the U18s during January of 2019, winning all seven games by a combined 50-18 margin. Last year's U18s barely missed the mark, winning 11 of 12, including a 10-game winning streak, in January of 2021.

POWER-LESS: The Under-18 Team posted a perfect penalty kill in games against Buffalo State and Adrian last weekend to run its record to 10-0-0 when not allowing a power-play goal in the game.

Over their last 10 games, the U18s have killed off 31 of 37 opportunities, good for an 83.7% penalty kill to run its season-long PK up to 79.3%.

FIRST TIMER: The Under-17 Team picked up its first USHL win of the season with a 5-2 win over the Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday evening.

The team receieved a pair of goals from Gracyn Sawchyn (Chaska, Minn.) and additional markers from Will Smith (Lexington, Mass.), Will Vote (Arlington, Mass.) and Gabe Perreault (Hinsdale, Ill.).

Michael Chambre (Fort Myers, Fla.)recorded 42 saves in the win, a career-high for him at the NTDP, to collect his second win of the season after earning a shutout against Switzerland in international play.

HAT COLLECTION: U18 forward Jimmy Snuggerud (Chaska, Minn.) scored three goals against the Buffalo State Bengals to give him his third hat-trick in a six-game span for the Under-18 Team.

Snuggerud started and ended the Five Nations tournament in Switzerland with a trio of goals each to lead all skaters in the international competition in goals scored with his six.

The future Minnesota Golden Gopher forward has picked up 10 points (6g-4a) over the team's last four games and is tied for third on the U18s in total points this season with 25 (12g-13a).

After an impressive 2020-21 campaign that saw him produce 32 points (15g-17a) in 45 games with the U17s, Snuggerud is just seven points shy of that total in less than half as many games this year.
