SOO EAGLES: The U.S. National Under-17 Team travels north to take on the Soo Eagles of the North Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) in a two-game series in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. 

The Soo finished the 2019-20 season fourth in their division with a 30-21-2-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record. 

The Eagles return one of their top-five scorers from last season in forward Bobby Price, who logged 13 goals, 23 assists and 36 points in 56 games. In addition, the Eagles also return goaltender Ryan GIlmore, who appeared in 16 contests, tallying a 2.93 goals against average and a .913 save clip. 

MUSKEGON LUMBERJACKS: The U.S. National Under-18 Team opens USHL play with a home-and-home set against their in-state rival, Muskegon Lumberjacks. 

The Lumberjacks finished the 2019-20 season in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with a 21-23-5-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record. They were on track to qualify for the Clark Cup Playoffs prior to the cancelation of the remainder of the season. 

Muskegon was led last season by forward Danil Gushchin, who recorded 47 points (22g-25a) in 42 games played. The Russian forward was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the third round of last week's NHL Draft. Jack Williams was the 'Jacks lone qualified goaltender for the 2019-20 campaign as he compiled a 12-8-4-0 record with a 3.03 GAA and .898 save percentage.
