The U.S. National Under-17 Team earned two points in its game against the Chicago Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena.

Eamon Powell (Marcellus, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal in overtime with 20 seconds remaining in the extra frame, while Landon Slaggert (South Bend, Ind.), Tanner Latsch (Twin Lakes, Mich.), Chase Yoder (Fairview, Texas), and Hunter Strand (Anchorage, Alaska) notched one goal apiece in the U.S. National Under-17 Team’s 5-4 victory against the Chicago Steel. Goaltenders Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) and Noah Grannan (Germantown, Wis.) made a combined 31 saves in net.
