The U.S. National Under-17 Team split its two-game weekend against the Youngstown Phantoms.

In its loss on Friday (Feb. 15), Eamon Powell (Marcellus, N.Y.), Thomas Bordeleau (Houston, Texas) and Hunter McKown (San Jose, Calif.) scored for the U17s.

The U17s took home a 4-3 victory the next day, with goals from Bordeleau, Matthew Beniers (Hingham, Mass.), Chase Yoder (Fairview, Texas), and Brock Faber (Maple Grove, Minn.). Faber’s goal was not only the game winner, but it also marked his first goal of his career with the NTDP. Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) made 24 saves in the win.
