The U.S. National Under-18 Team earned its ninth win in NCAA matchups with an 8-3 victory against the Adrian Bulldogs on Jan. 8 at USA Hockey Arena. Seven different players tallied goals, including Alex Turcotte (Island Lake, Ill.) and Matthew Boldy (Millis, Mass.), who each recorded one goal and three assists. In addition, Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) scored twice, while Marshall Warren (Laurel Hollow, N.Y.), Patrick Moynihan (Millis, Mass), Henry Thrun (Southborough, Mass.) and Michael Gildon (Plano, Texas) netted one goal apiece. Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.) played a full game in net and stopped 28 shots in the victory. The U18s outshot the Bulldogs by a margin of 52-31.

The U18s recorded their 10th victory against collegiate opponents in their final College Series game of the season. Wisconsin commits Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis.) scored twice and Turcotte scored once against their future college team, while John Beecher (Elmira, N.Y.), Cam York (Anaheim Hills, Calif.), and Boldy tallied three additional goals in the U18s' 6-2 victory. Knight made 21 saves in net to fend off the Badgers.
