DOWNING THE FLYING ACES
The upcoming two-game series against Central Illinois marks the firs time Team USA has hosted the Flying Aces during the 2018-19 season. The two teams have already met three times in Bloomington, Illinois. Their next meeting comes Jan. 25 at USA Hockey Arena.
The Flying Aces have the No. 6 ranked offense and No. 11 ranked defense in the USHL. In addition, their penalty kill is ranked No. 17 (73.7%) and its power play is ranked No. 14 (17.2%).

CAGING THE BULLDOGS
The last time the NTDP faced the Adrian College came Nov. 11, 2017, which resulted in a 2-1 win against the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs enter the matchup against the U18s after a 6-4 loss Dec. 30 against SUNY Canton. Cory Dunn, Nick Erb, Trevor Boyd, and Michael Montambault scored for the Bulldogs, while Kevin Entmaa made 13 saves in net.

BATTLING THE BADGERS
The U18s travel to Madison, Wisconsin, to face the University of Wisconsin in the seventh all-time meeting between the two sides. The last time the U18s played the Badgers came Oct. 21, 2016, when the U18s fell to Wisconsin by a 4-3 final.
The Badgers will look to break a losing streak after dropping two games to Denver from Jan. 4-5. Wisconsin suffered a 6-3 loss in which NTDP alum Tyler Inamoto, Seamus Malone, and Will Johnson tallied goals for the Badgers. Daniel Lebedeff made 22 saves. The Badgers picked up a point, but dropped a 4-3 overtime decision the next day. Dominick Mersch, Brock Caufield, and Matthew Freytag netted goals and Jack Berry stopped 32 shots.
