Dec. 29, 2018, U17s @ Chicago Steel (L, 6-3)

The U.S. National Under-17 Team lost 6-3 in a road game against the Chicago Steel. Luke Tuch (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Daniyal Dzhaniyev (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Thomas Bordeleau (Houston, Texas) scored in the third period to put Team USA within reach, but despite the comeback attempt and outshooting the Steel 31-30,  the U17s could not seal the win. Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) made 24 saves in the game.
