U18s ADD GOALTENDER: With the departure of Hughes and Knight to the World Junior Championship training camp, the U.S. National Under-18 Team announced a goaltending addition for this week.

Alexandros Aslanidis (Moorestown, N.J.) will conclude his two-game stint with the U18s against Muskegon after he made five saves on six shots against Lake Superior State University on Sunday.

The Providence College commit currently plays with Avon Old Farms (Conn.) and is a Lincoln Stars draft selection. 

Marco Duronio (Rochester, Mich.) joined the U18s for their matchup Saturday against Michigan State University. Duronio is currently uncommitted and has posted a 1.70 goals-against-average and .935 save-percentage in seven games this season for Little Caesars 18U club.

FOUR NATIONS CUP: The U.S. National Under-17 Team placed second at the 2018 Under-17 Four Nations Cup at USA Hockey Arena, which featured international opponents  Russia, Slovakia and Switzerland. Click here for a full recap of the first- and third-place games.

EICHEL CLIMBS SCORING RANKS: Former NTDP standout Jack Eichel (2012-14) ranks sixth in the NHL in scoring at 45 points (14-31-45) through 34 games. The fourth-year center is on pace to shatter his career-best mark of 64 points set during the 2017-18 season.

FAMILY AFFAIR: Jack and Quinn Hughes went head-to-head for a second time this season when the brothers faced off during a scrimmage on the third day of USA Hockey's selection camp to determine the 23-player roster for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship. Read the full update at NHL.com.

NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING: Sixty-seven USHL players comprise the updated players to watch list, which ranks as the most of any junior league worldwide. Every U18 player is rated on the list, and the NTDP comprises all eight A-rated players with USHL associations: Matthew Boldy (Millis, Mass.), Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis.), Jack Hughes (Orlando, Fla.), Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.), Alex Turcotte (Island Lake, Ill.), Alex Vlasic (Wilmette, Ill.), Cam York (Anaheim Hills, Calif.) and Trevor Zegras (Bedford, N.Y.). FROM NTDP TO NCAA: Sixty NTDP alums are playing Division I NCAA hockey in their time following Team USA, and 36 are NHL Draft choices.  Seven NCAA teams have accumulated the most NTDP alums, all-time: 47 at the University of Michigan, 39 at the University of Notre Dame, 35 at Boston University, 32 at Boston College, 29 at the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin, and 24 at Michigan State University.
