The U.S. National Under-17 Team traveled to Saint John, N.B. for the Under-17 World Hockey Challenge from Nov. 1-8. The U17s returned with a 1-3-1-0 record after the five-game stretch.

Hunter Strand (Anchorage, Alaska) earned third star honors on the second day of the tournament after he recorded one goal and one assist. Dylan Peterson (Roseville, Calif.) and Thomas Bordeleau (Houston, Texas) led the team in points with four in five games, while goaltenders Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) and Colin Purcell (Shaker Heights, Ohio) recorded a combined .878 save percentage and 3.96 goals against average.
