The U17s traveled to New Hope, Minnesota, for two games against the Minnesota Elite League. On Saturday, the U17s faced Minnesota Elite North, and recorded a 4-3 victory. Thomas Bordeleau (Houston, Texas) scored first for the U17s, followed by goals from Landon Slaggert (South Bend, Ind.) and Daniel Laatsch (Altoona, Wis.) to put Team USA ahead 3-1. Dylan Peterson (Roseville, Calif.) recorded the game-winner in Team USA's 4-3 win. Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) stopped 18 of 21 shots in three periods of play.

The U17s returned to Plymouth following a 5-4 win against Minnesota Elite Southwest on Sunday. Ty Smilanic (Elizabeth, Colo.) recorded a pair of goals in the victory, including the game-winner, while Daniyal Dzhaniyev (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season to tie the game in the third period. Chase Yoder (Fairview, Texas) and Laatsch also scored against Southwest. Goaltender Noah Grannan (Germantown, Wis.) played the full game for Team USA.
