'ATTA BOY, BEUKS: U17 forward Dayne Beuker (Portland, Ore.) continued his absolute heater with a four-point weekend in Illinois as he registered a pair of multi-point nights against the Chicago Steel.
Beuker began his weekend quartet with a helper on Brody George's (Johnstown, Pa.) goal to open Team USA's scoring, then put his name in the goal column halfway through the third period with a power-play marker from the bottom of the left circle.
On Saturday, Beuker added a pair of helpers to give him seven multi-point efforts on the season, tied for most on the team.
During his current stretch, the uncommitted forward has posted 12 points (4G-8A) over his last seven games played, which includes three USHL and four international contests. With the impressive run, Beuker has jumped atop the U17 scoring leaderboard and leads the team with both 15 assists and 26 points.
BIG MAC ATTACK: Before the team was held without a goal last Sunday in Arizona, U18 forward Cole McKinney (Lake Forest, Ill.) had registered at least a point in eight consecutive games for the Under-18 Team, a career-long scoring streak for the University of Michigan commit.
Over the stretch, McKinney had six goals and seven assists for 13 total points to propel himself to the top of the team scoring list, as he leads the squad now with 25 points (9G-16A) from 28 games played.
After starting the streak with four consecutive single-point games, the 6-foot, 199-pound center registered four straight multi-point efforts, including a three-point morning with a goal and two helpers in the team's 3-1 win over Muskegon on December 11.
BILLET FAMILIES: Each year dozens of exceptional families open their homes to the finest American amateur hockey players in the nation. These selfless families provide a vital service to the success of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program. USA Hockey is always looking for families to take in players and provide homes and a family environment for the student-athletes who attend an accredited online program.
The NTDP has begun its search for housing families for the 2025-26 season. To learn more about being a prospective billet family, join us in the NTDP classroom for housing meetings on the following dates:
