PLAYING AT FUTURE HOME: At least a quartet of U18s will be playing at their future home Friday night when the team squares off against Michigan at Yost Ice Arena.

Forwards Will Horcoff (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) and Cole McKinney (Lake Forest, Ill.), along with defensemen Drew Schock IV (Green Bay, Wis.) and Asher Barnett (Wilmette, Ill.) are all Wolverines commits.

KVASNICKA: After a slow start to the season, U18 forward Jacob Kvasnicka (Wayzata, Minn.) was the most productive scorer last weekend as he collected three points (2G-1A) over two games.

The University of Minnesota commit brought Team USA back to even late in regulation against Harvard on Friday night. Taking the puck up the left wing, he fired a long-range wrister from the top of the circle to tie the game at 4-4 late in the third.

He followed that up by again scoring the U18s' fourth goal of the game on Saturday, the final goal of regulation. He brought in an Andrew O'Neill (Fargo, N.D.) rebound and roofed a quick shot over the shoudler of the netminder.

Kvasnicka is up to five points on the season, tied for sixth-most on the U18s. His three goals places him in a tie for second amongst the team.

Six current U18 skaters were listed as "B" ranked skaters, indiciating a possible 2nd- or 3rd-round selection in the upcoming 2025 NHL Draft.

Another five U18s were named "C" ranked skaters, a possible 4th- or 5th-round choice while a half-dozen more were given "W" ratings, showing a selection in the final two rounds of the draft.
