HEY HAEDEN: For the second time this season, the U.S. National Under-17 Team will add Haeden Ellis (Buffalo, N.Y.) to the roster for the weekend.

Previously, Ellis suited up with the U17s for the team's four-game European tour in December. He scored twice and added an assist for three total points over the four contests. Ellis was also +4 over his previous tenure.

Ellis, who just finished his season with the OJHL's Buffalo Jr. Sabres, put up 40 points (18g-22a) in 43 regular-season games and added five points (3g-2a) in six playoff contests.

The 5-foot-9, 150-pound forward is a Northeastern University commit and was a first-round pick, 7th overall, of the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, where he will likely play next season.

KEEP IT A HUNDRED: U18 forward Kamil Bednarik (Chicago, Ill.) found Cole Eiserman (Newburyport, Mass.) at the right circle, where the NTDP's second all-time leading scorer fired a wrister to put the U18s ahead 3-1 on Saturday night against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.

With the assist, Bednarik collected his 100th career point at the NTDP, becoming the third 2006-born player to hit the mark, after Eiserman and James Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.).

Bednarik, a Boston University commit, began his career with an impressive U17 campaign, collecting 20 goals and 24 assists for 44 points, good for fourth on the team in scoring.

For the 2023-24 season, Bednarik is again fourth on the team in scoring, as he's potted 22 goals and added 34 helpers for an even 100 career points. He's added seven special-teams goals, including a team-high two while shorthanded and collected a pair of game-winning tallies.

MILITARY JERSEY AUCTION: Team USA's 2023-24 military jersey auction is ending soon! The specialty black camo jerseys, designed with help from NTDP player development coach and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Tommy Cogan (Philadelphia, Pa.), will end their bidding at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday evening.
