WORLD JUNIORS: The U.S. National Junior Team is competing at the World Junior Championship in Gothenberg, Sweden from Dec. 26, 2023- Jan. 5, 2024.

The Team USA rosters features 17 National Team Development Program alums including seven returners from last year's team - goaltender Trey Augustine, defensemen Ryan Chesley, Seamus Casey and Lane Hutson, along with forwards Cutter Gauthier, Rutger McGroarty and Jimmy Snuggerud.

The U.S. won both of its pre-tournament games over Sweden (5-3) and Canada (6-5 OT), and got a quick start on the tournament with a 4-1 win over Norway in its first preliminary-round matchup.

CHRISTMAHANAKVASNICKA: U17 forward Jacob Kvasnicka (Plymouth, Minn.) was the latest NTDP player to commit as he announced he will play his collegiate hockey at the University of Minnesota.

Kvasnicka, currently sidelined due to injury, produced eight points (5g-3a) in 14 games to start his NTDP career as he looks to rejoin the lineup during the second half of the season.
