MADISON CAPITOLS:  Both the Under-17 and Under-18 Teams will host the Madison Capitols this week in their last game before heading overseas for the February international break.

The U18s open the two-game set on Thursday evening at USA Hockey Arena. The elder portion of Team USA won the first battle of the season-series by a 6-2 final back on January 12 at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice.

The Caps are led by forwards Jack Musa and Quinn Finley offensively. The former has posted an even 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points to lead all current skaters in Madison. Finley has 27 points (10g-17a) in 23 contests to lead the squad in points-per-game.

On the blue line, Nick Wallace earned this week's USHL Defensemen of the Week award after he registered three points and six shots on goal after their two games last weekend. On the season, Wallace has three goals and 12 assists, both numbers that lead all Madison blueliners.

In cage, Madison has used a pair of goaltenders throughout the campaign in Slovakian Ratislav Elias and Mason Kucenski, a Massachusetts native. Kucenski has seen a bit more time in net, although it's been a fairly even split, and has played to a 5-13-1 record, 4.70 GAA and .839 SV%. Elias has performed to a 3.85 GAA and .864 SV% on the year, but has been on a better run recently as he's registered a .917 or better in two of his last three starts.
