MADISON CAPITOLS:  The Under-17 Team plays the NTDP's lone games of the weekend as they host the Madison Capitols for a pair.

The Caps come to USA Hockey Arena in eighth place in the USHL's Eastern Conference and have earned 11 points in their 17 games played.

Madison is led by a pair of forwards who have already eclipsed the 20-point plateau, averaging well over a point per game. Finnish forward and Arizona Coyotes draft pick Miko Matikka leads the team with nine goals scored, 14 helpers and 23 total points in 16 games. Quinn Finley, a 3rd-round pick of the New York Islanders in last year's draft, has recorded eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points.

They are aided by forwards Jack Musa (9g-7a), Nathan Lewis (3g-10a) and Andrew Kuzma (3g-7a) who are all in double-digit points.

On the blue line, Madison has received some impressive starts for Nick Wallace (1g-7a) and William Felicio (0g-8a) to lead their defense corp.

Mason Kucenski has taken the bulk of playing time in net for the Capitols and won five games while sporting a 4.65 GAA and .838 SV% in 13 appearances.

The two matchups are the first of the season between Madison and the NTDP. The Capitols will come back to Michigan for two more in February while Team USA will head to Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena for the final three games of the season series.
