Hughes, St. Cyr Receive USHL End of Year Awards

Hughes Named All-USHL Second Team, St. Cyr All-Academic Team

Defenseman Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.) has been named to the All-USHL Second Team and goaltender Dylan St. Cyr (Northville, Mich.) has been selected to the USHL All-Academic Team, it was announced today by the United States Hockey League.

In 26 USHL contests, Hughes was tied for the team lead in points, scoring four goals and adding 22 assists. His point per game average also led all league blueliners in regular season play.

Hughes' play also earned him a pair of USHL Defenseman of the Week honors during the 2016-17 campaign.

St. Cyr led all Team USA netminders in USHL competition, putting up a 2.27 goals-against average and .912 save percentage for a 14-3-1-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL). Additionally, he received a pair of USHL Goaltender of the Week nods during the season.
