U17s Fall to Muskegon in Holiday Tilt, 3-0

The U.S. National Under-17 Team fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks 3-0 on Monday afternoon at USA Hockey Arena. 

With the loss, the U17s fall to 13-19-2-0 (W-L-OTL-T) on the season.

The U17s earned seven opportunities on the power play but were unable to capitalize as Muskegon goaltender Adam Brizgala stopped all 23 shots he faced to earn his first career USHL shutout.

Muskegon scored two of its three goals on the power play. 

Erik Gordon (Duluth, Ga.) made 27 saves on 30 shots for the U17s. 

Team USA is back in action on Saturday when it hosts the Bloomington Thunder for a 7 p.m. matchup at USA Hockey Arena. Tickets for all NTDP games are available at USAHockeyArena.com.
