LAKE PLACID, N.Y. — The U.S. will face off against Sweden at 4 p.m. ET tonight in the 1980 Herb Brooks Arena at the Olympic Center. The game will be streamed live at usahockey.fasthockey.com, with live stats available at worldjuniors.usahockey.com

Yesterday, the U.S. defeated Finland, 5-4, in overtime thanks to Zach Werenski's (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) goal with :37 remaining in overtime. The game was the first this camp in which Ron Wilson (Riverside, R.I.), head coach of the 2016 U.S. National Junior Team, stood behind the bench.

Additionally, it was the first game in which the U.S. competed as one team since arriving to camp last Friday. The Americans were split into two squads until roster cuts were made Tuesday morning, trimming the player pool from 39 to 31. For more information on the cuts, click here.
