BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Anders Bjork (Mequon, Wis.) and Dylan Larkin (Waterford, Mich.) had one goal and two assists each as the U.S. National Under-18 Team trumped Bowling Green State University, 6-1, here tonight at BGSU Arena. This was the fourth victory for Team USA over an NCAA Division I opponent.

Team USA put the Falcons on notice at 4:59 of the opening period when Louie Belpedio (Skokie, Ill.) lit the lamp. Bjork and Larkin combined to set up the play for Belpedio's marker. Alex Tuch (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) doubled Team USA's advantage at 16:06. Brandon Fortunato (North Hills, N.Y.) and Jack Eichel (North Chelmsford, Mass.) assisted. Bjork scored less than a minute later to give the U.S. a three-goal cushion, as Larkin and Fortunato collected helpers on the tally.

Bowling Green found the back of the net at 3:22 of the middle frame, but Larkin responded at 5:56 off a feed from Bjork to restake a three-goal lead. Shane Gersich (Chaska, Minn.) capped the scoring in the second stanza when he potted a goal at 13:31, finishing a feed from Ryan Wagner (Park Ridge, Ill.).

Wagner registered the lone marker in the final frame when he buried the puck at 16:16. Blake Weyrick (Ojai, Calif.) was tested only three times in the period, turning aside all three shots and 23 total in the victory for Team USA. The Falcon's netminding duo of Tomas Sholl and Tommy Burke made 20 saves combined in the loss for Bowling Green.

The U.S. National Under-18 Team is right back in action Saturday (Feb. 22) night, squaring off with United States Hockey League foe the Indiana Ice in Indiana. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
