ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Tickets are going fast and one of the largest crowds of the season is expected when USA Hockey's National Team Development Program hosts Star Wars Night on Saturday (Jan. 18) at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. The game will mark the conclusion of a two-game homestand, the first for Team USA since Nov. 30 - Dec. 1, 2013.

Among the festivities planned for Star Wars Night are appearances by characters from the beloved film franchise and extended universe and ceremonial puck drop. The Under-18 Team will also take to the ice wearing specially designed jerseys. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.

Fourteen current Under-18 Team players were recently tabbed in NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of players eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft, including Team USA's top-ranked skater Sonny Milano (Massapequa, N.Y.). In addition to the 14 players listed, Jack Eichel (North Chelmsford, Mass.) is projected to be a top pick in the 2015 NHL Draft. The entire set of jerseys from Saturday's game will be made available through auction.

The jerseys will be auctioned off online here. Bidding will commence on Monday, Jan. 28, and end on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 9 p.m. EST. Proceeds will benefit C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Tickets to the game are available at the NTDP offices located within the Ann Arbor Ice Cube at 2121 Oak Valley Drive or by calling (734) 327-9251. The game is also available via live stream at FASTHockey.com.
