March to Feature Family-Friendly Promotions with Team USA

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program will host nine games in the month of March at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. Two of those games will feature special, family-friendly promotions geared towards fans of all ages.

Join Team USA on Saturday, March 9, as the U.S. National Under-17 Team faces the Green Bay Gamblers. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST. Immediately following the game fans are welcome to skate with the players. Fans are allowed to bring their own skates or rent a pair at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube for one dollar.


The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a 2012-13 team poster.

Also on March 9, the first 250 fans in attendance will receive a 2012-13 team poster, featuring both the Under-17 and Under-18 Teams. Posters will be given away at the door with a valid ticket stub. Players will be available for autographs during the skate with the players event.

Characters from the beloved movie franchise, Star Wars, will be in attendance on Sunday, March 24, when the U.S. National Under-18 Team faces the Youngstown Phantoms. Special Star Wars themed merchandise will be available for fans in attendance, with proceeds benefitting Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. Puck drop is slated for 3:30 p.m. EST.
