CEDAR RAPIDS ROUGHRIDERS: In the NTDP's lone action of the weekend, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders pay a visit to USA Hockey Arena for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday nights.

The RoughRiders enter the weekend in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, clinging to the final playoff spot with a 22-22-5-2 record, good for 51 standings points. They've played six straight games without a regulation loss, dating back to February 24.

Cedar Rapids traded two of its leading scorers at the USHL Trade Deadline. Amine Hajibi, who led the team in assists and points, was traded to Green Bay while Jack Larrigan, another double-digit goal scorer, was shipped off to Lincoln.

The team's current leading scorer is defenseman Joel Kjellberg, who has produced nine goals and 24 assists for 33 points in 49 games played. Landan Resendes, a rookie Boston College commit, leads the squad with 13 goals scored.

In net, Rudy Guimond has appeared in 25 games and racked up an 11-9-3-1 record with a 3.60 GAA and .872 SV%. Sam Scopa has 18 games played between the pipes, with a 5-10-1-0 record, 3.26 GAA and .880 SV% for the RoughRiders.

The weekend's tilts are the only two matchups between Cedar Rapids and the U18s this season. Earlier this month, the U17s traveled to Iowa and lost a pair, but earned a point in March 2's 4-3 shootout loss at ImOn Ice.
